A. Weidelt Systemtechnik
The A. Weidelt Systemtechnik company was founded in 1920 in Bremen, Germany, as a company for the manufacture of electric motors, switchgear and power resistors for regional distributors, power stations and shipping.
Production was expanded in 1955 by the creation of a mechanical division, in order to offer our customers small mechanical components and assemblies. This new division grew rapidly. New customers such as the Federal Ministry of the Interior and the German Federal Armed Forces provided new challenges and we set new goals with respect to complexity, quality and service.
The planning and realisation of the integration of various installation sets into mobile cells such as vehicles of all kinds, cabins, containers, aircraft and trains, increasingly emerged as our main product, requiring a particularly high degree of problem solving capability.
Large national and international companies, authorities and procurement agencies are enquiring about ever wider applications for the multi-faceted mobile problem-solving installation set. This includes market studies, selecting and testing of assemblies, integration into mobile cells and turnkey deliveries of certified functional systems, including training, technical documentation, maintenance, spares and sometimes even life-time service contracts.
The spectrum of installation sets ranges from patient transport and treatment in containers and cabins to mobile rescue systems for divers; from mobile workshops to mobile film development facilities; from mobile IT cabins to containerised environmental analyses; from mobile communication to demanding advertising vehicles, etc.
For our customer, this always translates to a one-stop mobile installation set, tailor-made to suit his individual requirements.
Our client therefore finds in us the only responsible and reliable partner he needs for all conceivable aspects of his requirements. We are a third-generation owner-controlled company with a tradition tracing back 85 years.
